I was excited by the idea of creating a space for queer identifying students and allies, who may have felt traditionally excluded from student leadership and fraternity & sorority life on my campus. I was lucky to go through the founding process with some of my best friends to this day, who have shaped me into the person I am today and challenged me to radically love and accept myself and those around us. This is and always will be what GRL means to me!

After spending about 6 years working professionally in higher education, advising and supporting student organizations and individual student leadership development, I realized how much GRL has given me and wanted to give back. My professional career has been fully shaped by the impact being a sibling of GRL and the time felt right to give back with the time and skills the last few years have taught me.

I'm just getting started, but I am so excited to learn about all of our individual chapters and what makes them special. I'm also excited by the opportunity to support and provide resources to our active siblings so they can continue growing into the empowered, proud, and confident leaders of tomorrow.
