Omega Chapter
The purpose of the Omega Chapter is to have a place where we can recognize and celebrate siblings that have passed. The chapter will raises funds for the families and for the issues that may have affected or been important to those members.
The idea for Omega chapter started many years ago as a plan to have a special place designed for siblings that pass away. The idea and initiation of the chapter was moving at a slow pace until June 2016. Two chapter founders passed away at that time, which created a need for us to get our Omega Chapter established. In fall 2016, the National Delegation voted to reserve the chapter letter Omega for this purpose.
Shortly after that we reached out to alum to see who was interested in setting up a committee to help found Omega chapter. In February of 2017, several alum members created an Omega Chapter committee to help found Omega Chapter. The Omega Chapter committee is also in charge of creating both rituals and celebration ceremonies to honor those members and their contributions to Gamma Rho Lambda National Sorority.
