National Council Elections 2026-2027

Each spring, the National Delegation votes to elect new National Council officers for the coming year. The term begins on the day of the Council Installment Ritual every Summer, usually held at our National Convention, and lasts for about one year - until the day of our next Installment Ritual.

In order to apply for a GRL Council position, you will need to:

  • Be an Active Alum by the start of the Council term.
  • Submit your application by the deadline
  • Prepare to introduce yourself & answer questions from Council & collegiate delegates
  • Attend the Council Q&A session.
  • Attend the Elections meeting.

Voting as an Alum or Collegiate Member

Council candidate nominations will be sent out via email and official GRL Slack and Facebook groups.


Voting will take place on April 26, 2026. Voting meetings are required for Chapter Delegates and open to all current GRL members. 


To vote as a collegiate member, communicate with your Chapter Delegates to voice your vote. 


To vote as an alum member, fill out the voting form that will be sent to your email by the VP of Alum prior to elections. Reach out at alum@gammarholambda.org if you did not receive the voting form by our Council Q&A date.
