Why did you join GRL?
I joined GRL because I was looking for a community. I wanted a community where I felt like I belonged and where people supported each other for who they truly were. GRL became a place where I found chosen family and a home on campus.

Why did you start volunteering nationally?
I started volunteering nationally after being inactive for a few years because I wanted to give back to the organization and community that gave me so much. GRL shaped me into the leader I am today and I want future generations to have the same opportunity to find community and know that their voices matter.

What do you like most about being on National Council?
My favorite part of being on National Council is the feeling of "coming home." I love reconnecting with siblings from my chapter and meeting new siblings from across the country. It has been really cool to be surrounded by people who are just as passionate about protecting and growing our org as I am.
